I know it looks next to nothing like Candy's sword. I just found it funny that the closest thing to Candy's sword was the fucking holy sword Excalibur.

The amount of cool little hints to their Cleric nature is so great to me.

It may be for this reason that Excalibur’s most-famous story arc is the cross-time caper, which features encounters with innumerable genres of storytelling. The characters can slot into any of the genres quite easily due to their pre-existing genre diversity. 10/11

Shortly before drawing this I had decided I would throw out the entire PLD job story (and the ARR relic story) and make Excalibur/Aegis old Ivalician treasures. Agrias occupied the shield so why not download Ardbert into the sword?
