This is the first time I've beaten the original version of Crash 1, and it surprisingly wasn't too bad!
Definitely felt a bit stiff to control, but was still mostly fun (aside from the save system, why was it like that)

Why are all the Mario moles so chubby? This big burrower uses its extra size to resist being beaten by a single stomp. They're still not as resilient as the shade-wearing Mega Moles, but being stomped once makes them run a bit faster in a squished form.

I’ve played this game plenty of times before, but this is the first time I’ve ever actually beaten it. Feels good. To be fair I used save states, but only to counteract losing lives. I never rewound a single mistake just to get out of damage.

Had a lot of fun with this one! The drain function is interesting, and the bosses are all pretty creative. The difficulty unfortunately drops off near the end once you get most of your best upgrades though. Will be going for AC 1cc later on!
