Al igual que con Greymon y MetalGreymon, hubo ideas de rediseñar a SkullGreymon para haciéndolo una fusión de Greymon (2010) y DarkKnightmon.

La primera curiosidad es que existe una fusión con Shoutmon X3 llamada x3SD.
Esta DigiCross sólo se ha visto en cartas y en los Super Cross Wars de Nintendo DS, pero tiene un gran diseño.
