I mean, that being said, it's not like I haven't been improving. My work now is lightyears beyond the first things I posted to Twitter. And that was only two years ago! Look how messy that shit is. Moreover, I think I need to do some studying.

Following on from Yuki with NOD, here's some over-age magical girls background. They're not the most powerful out there anymore, but make up for it in cunning, guile, and a whole lot of experience at not dying.
This could be a WIP, could be finished. I signed it just in case I never get back to it, but I needed to draw something melancholy, and these two fit.

Am I really dying...?
i did improve my art violently fast though. managed to focus on one specific thing when upset and with friends' help did a LOT of studying. focused on anatomy and colors, permanantly switched from SAI to CSP...
first is may of 2021. second is 7 months later w a different oc
I took a lot more commissions this year, but I also did a lot of studying. Instead of draining me, this has been fundamental in building up my confidence for personal, meaningful imagery in my visual art.
2021 has been a year of slowing down, exploration, finding my place, and lots of studying.
