Day 2040, drawing with sweeping strokes like all the digital artists do, but I didn't do a sketch so it looks janky lol

first is 2020 and last two are a finished piece and my most recent drawing still in the sketch phase~

can't say I've improved much in terms of style, but I'm way more comfortable with my strokes now!

a random girl with a casual air. I imagine it's late at night and she's going to a dessert cafe or something.

the paper is indeed very different. I feel like it's conducive to making the marker strokes more obvious. it's so smooth and thick

heaven
swirled chaos
colors
of coma
and crushed
blueberry
with strokes
of doom
as we
daydreamt
yellow
thieves
shallow
like sheets
in shadow
stabbed
at hearts
with empty
sheaths
as eyes
watched
lashes go
lifeless
and love’s
language
collapsed
like a lung
with magic
we disappeared

It's in Japan!
I enjoy drawing this kind of artwork the most, just making strokes however I want without putting "what other likes" as consideration.

Anju - Beach Edition (WIP).

The end of the season will not stop me from continuing to work on my summer artworks. Now that it's getting cooler, I'm not slowed down by the heat strokes anymore and can be more productive again.

His vivid colors, simple lines, and bold brushstrokes combine for the high impact of his work; one that embraces the drama and accents the flair of his paintings. Dennis Champlin

it's really complicated to explain. I usually polish my strokes on greyscale stage, then I adjust the color of the grey color by using "color balance" and after that I add a bunch of different colors w/ layer filters to blend (overlay> soft color> glowdodge> multiply> darken)

Claude Monet (French, 1840-1926)
“Seascape, Storm”, 1866, Oil on canvas, Clark Art Institute.
Monet experimented with technique in this early seascape, using subdued colors and applying paint in broad strokes, sometimes with a palette knife.
