Frustrating, cheap & beneath the design of the game. It's why I think the Pickfords aren't underrated. I think history has rated them fairly accurately: talented, but not tippy-top.

Plok controls solid, has an interesting premise and a catchy hook.

Quest 64 was basically a linear Nintendo version of your usual early Final Fantasy game. When I first played this game, it stuck with me for a long, long time, and it still does today.

Definitely! I mean there's LOTS of sources of inspiration, but Tak was definitely one of them! The art and designs for those games are great, super underrated.

I finished my rewatch of Earth Maiden Arjuna last night (地球少女アルジュナ) and it's still beautiful and criminally underrated.
