Seeing animators try to make Super Saiyan Blue's hair flow with the wind while staying on-model with Yamamuro's designs is such a tragedy. It looks like a pile of clay stuck on Goku's head.
This is why the original Super Saiyan still is my favorite design made by Toriyama-sensei

Le meilleur Chara design de Dragon Ball sera toujours celui là pour moi. La perfection à l'état pur, l'art ultime, on ne peut faire plus beau. Yamamuro au sommet de son art, à il a atteint l'arayashiki, le nirvana, l'harmonie, l’éveil ultime.

What a phenomenal episode. The production's totally fucky still since we've got a bunch of Studio Junio animators popping up under a Yamamuro episode, but holy hell, it's so good. Miyahara, Nakatsuru, and Sato kick the episode off in spectacular fashion.
I suppose to compare, we could look at Yamamuro's work on a few of the movies he did in fact work on (he wasn't character designer on the films until M8). Each of these has a strong composition and character art - personally I think they hold up rather well.
