#DBZrewatch 173:
Cell era Yamamuro is the greatest and I will keep saying it until the end of time. Doesn't matter if it's goofy or serious, the man just doesn't miss. He vanishes for a while following this episode to serve as animation director and character designer on Movie 8
#DBZrewatch 172:
Although Last House's episodes seriously degraded throughout the early portions of this arc, there is some marginal improvement, particularly with the likes of Ohara (pictured) producing some stylish work with some solid Uchiyama corrections on top.
Ep. 174 marks the debut of an absolute fan-favorite, Keisuke Masunaga and Studio Cockpit. He was one of the first artists to debunk the 'on-model = good' myth. It's more like a matter of GOOD/BAD rather than ON/OFF-model. Miyahara's additional corrections are a waste #DBZrewatch.
Ep. 173 is pretty solid, even if it's not that action-packed. With a Yamamuro like this, such a problem never arises. (dat GTesque shot of Piccolo, tho) Apart from his usual team (Shibata, Ehara and Seki), Koji Nashizawa (3-4) pops up during the 2nd half. #DBZrewatch.
Aaaamnnnnnnndd done!
Here is My very First Digital Drawing. I hope you enjoy a fully colored Okori the Wanderer.

Great episode. The downtime before the Cell Games is so much fun. You get so many cool little moments like this. There's nothing inherently Yamauchi-esque about this, but I think just letting this moment speak for itself is a sign of a good director.
#DBZrewatch 159:
A real landmark episode. One of the best in the series.
Sato, Ide, Nakatsuru, Shida, Miyahara, etc. Not super crazy top-tier noteworthy animation, but when combined with Kikuchi's great board, and surprisingly solid Imamura direction, it's seriously effective.
#DBZrewatch 152:
What a phenomenal episode. The production's totally fucky still since we've got a bunch of Studio Junio animators popping up under a Yamamuro episode, but holy hell, it's so good. Miyahara, Nakatsuru, and Sato kick the episode off in spectacular fashion.
#DBZrewatch 151:
Welcome to one of the funniest episodes in the series. Wakamoto's Cell is a treasure.
It's really hard not to love Vegeta here.
His re-emergence as a Super Saiyan is truly a highlight in this series. #DBZRewatch
#DBZrewatch 112:
Pretty damn great episode. It opens with Masaki Sato's absolutely unreal artwork. I couldn't resist stitching a pan together. He's not in this episode much, but when he pops up, he sure makes an impact.
I'm rewatching DBZ and liked these Cell Arc outfits so I drew them #Goku #Vegeta #dbzrewatch #DBZ

Although the second half is a little slow, this is mostly fine. Uchiyama's corrections feel quite rough, likely due to how to soon after their last episode this came about. That said, there's still some great stuff in here from his key animators.

#DBZrewatch 014 & 015:
Huh, that's interesting. Masaki Sato's Vegeta and Nappa is covered in shadow in the actual episode, but during the recap in #15, it's coloured normally.
#DBZRewatch 003:
- Shindo's art feels so at odds with the other supervisors at this point. It's very angular for this era of the show. (Images 1 & 2)
- We do appear to get our first look at Yamamuro in Z, though. (Raditz)
- Good Takenouchi direction, but his storyboard is bland.
