Other than my inability to have good contrasts, you mean? 🤔 Probably the way I inhale the paint Perylene Violet-- even in pieces where you don't see purples, I can assure you it's there in the mix somewhere... It's a weird one, but it just feels wrong to paint without it...

In terms of contrast from 2019-2021? I wouldn't say much was different, but the near end of last year got me to being open on making original stuff again and slowly growing as an artist.

When I threw the first splash of paint, a GIANT dark blob fell right on the face of the character, all around her head. I was SO worried it was going to look bad, but I think it's okay XD Thankfully her face is white, so it actually works well for contrast o_o crisis averted.

When working with darker toned skin, try to add some colours to help contrast

This one helped me a lot, imagine you can not see colour, if the colours are not all one gray blob, it is good colour contrast
