Working with a very limited palette (red, yellow, B&W) might feel restrictive but I find it freeing
These are multi-layered works, with a rich 'history' to be discovered.

I wasn't sure about this to begin with, but it's grown on me quite a lot ... which just goes to show that you shouldn't make snap judgements!

It was in the ArtCan Exhibition 'Legacy', held at the Crypt Gallery. A visitor to the show fell for the painting, and came to the studio today to pick it up.

Work in progress - I'm enjoying working with a subtle background offset by strongly contrasting shapes, to create a dynamic abstract painting.
More work to be done on this, but it's a good start!
