I beat Star Ocean 4!! I really enjoyed my time with it. The combat was unique although sometimes the boss design was weird and kinda ruined it lol. I enjoyed the cast but they weren’t my favorite. The callbacks to SO1 were amazing and the story was fun!! 7.5/10 and onto SO3!

Just realized if you copy your art onto another layer, blur the shit out of it, lower opacity and turn the mode to hard light or lighter colour, you can get a quick kinda hazy vaseline-on-lens look.
