Okay I started reading the Lost Light run and wanted to share this small bit with zero context.
Okay, I've hit the Dark Cybertron portion where the story gets split between this and the other Transformers run (which I always find annoying when trying to read a comic run).
But at least the comics are backing up my last tweet here.
I may have spent far too many hours reading these and yes, I absolutely get why they are held in high esteem.
For those that haven't read them, please enjoy Swerve's blaster.
One of the cool things about being an artist is that you can just draw whatever little guys you imagine.
For those curious: he's the safety car from Transformers GT: Mission GT-R, a small toy line and continuity in which the Autobots and Decepticons have stopped fighting and race each other as Nissan GT-Rs instead.
Yes this does mean the line is just redecos of the same toy.
By Car Robots it was particularity pronounced as you had Gigatron, a character with a design so complicated it's hard to process what bit is what, bossing around some repaints of the G1 Combaticons, who are basically a team made of large ambulatory cubes.
I do know how heretical this opinion might be but I kinda wish toys of Motormaster would stop trying to replicate the tiny truck feet with fake parts.
I get it’s from his original design but it’s so much effort for something that’s not even that prominent.
