The style is heavily influenced by Moebius who Miyazaki was also friends with/influenced by at the time of Nausicaa so it really gives off that classic Miyazaki fantasy sci-fi vibe! It's my fav game of 2021 it's so beautiful

The apocalyptic theme is influenced by western standards but with Japanese twist idk, the MCs and their action is like Jackie Chan x Mel Gibson out there in the desert, badly beaten but still there will still make a comeback to kick ass of that thing.
