I love shading faces. Been doing these to practice facial structure/skin texture without reference. Been hard nailing the value scale but it's very fun and I love to do them. The first one is a dnd character of mine, the other is inspired by Minerva from TAZ amnesty.

Alright, this is the basic human form before the transformations begin.
Now, this is a bit interesting because I used Margot Robbie as face reference. Obviously it doesn't look exactly her, but it was used for the basics of the face.
