My plan was to spend today writing dialogue, but INSTEAD I spent the day figuring out how to make a custom speech UI so I can have an optional backdrop behind text to make it easier to read.
the dialogue in this 3 second moment from ep 45 of #battlebdaman is all dub and not in the og version and carries the entire scene. you know exactly why gray says that.
it's easy to write off the dub as all jokes, but the tight character writing is actually why i love it

Technical Point - I could have adjusted the dialogue more into a box shape but in this case, splitting up into each line creates a more dramatic impact.
