I wanted to try a few new things, mostly lighting stuff hehe

Lighting is still the most difficult thing for me in painting 🫠
Trying different variations to improve my skills. Never give up 🦾

A drawing of Lesti for lesti/leif!
Enjoy, I did it in a way similar to my Dionysus lighting/shading test!

I go for duller, but still somewhat vibrant colors so I can use lighting and shading to make them pop without it being a eyesore

I recoloured the father figure and made the lighting a bit softer. He looks kinder now. (Also I made his hat a tiny bit bigger)

With the enthusiasm from Vardis, I decided to redo the last character because I didn't quite succeed with the lighting there, so I wanted to do them in the same style as well. I think I'm pleased now✨#sketch

Playing around with lighting ✨

this is the lazy fix, but even the shortcut works better to show heathcliff has a darker skintone than the paler characters regardless of lighting

Some lighting practice! This first attempt was . . . less than stellar, but a good enough starting point

Another Dionysus drawing! But it’s just mainly for lighting and shading testing.
