Yeah, there's an actual sketch phase in there between layout + lineart :D Sometimes more, there was a Buttons I redrew like 6 times before settling on a pose.

I think it's totally fair to practice with things that you like! I found that trying out more technical stuff has an awesome payoff in the long term (in the sense that I expand my toolbox of techniques?)

With days 4-6 of well Orga was another fun one to do, specifically with the chosen colors, then with Spacegodzilla I wanted to represent the peace of space by giving him a more neutral pose. Day 6 I chose to go with a very experimental Rhedosaurus drawing.
