A1 2/2 I just finished reading "With the Fire on High" by . It uses translanguaging and would serve as an excellent "mirror" or "window" for Latinx ELs. "Clap When You Land," also by Acevedo is another favorite for high school students!

Year 8's response to Henry Moore's shelter drawings. Students wrote a diary entry as if they were Henry Moore walking into the underground to understand context behind work.We then adapted the colour on PowerPoint and selected sentences from their diary entries.
