Wyatt helped Ellen climb on a boat, one of the lasts. While he tried to climb in, a wave washed him away separating them. Ellen tried to jump after him but a man stopped her.

She could just watch how the Titanic sank in front of her eyes without hope of seeing Wyatt again.
