i wanted to show a comparison between the thumbnail for this piece vs the final image. part of me still prefers the thumbnail because of the roughness of it. i want to find out how to both refine and hold onto the rough and sketchy quality of my thumbnails. regardless, i had fun!

He’s a silver-scaled ice-breathing dragon mage. I’ve adapted him into things like D&D and Elder Scrolls, but his true story’s yet untold... He plays a major role in my personal project!
