A crossover fic with Darkest dungeon and Habin Hotel. Stangely enofub it was one of the first few fanfics I read in my early stages as a reader, and it actually kinda inspired me to write my own version of the crossover. Guess you could say it also sparked the writing spirit. https://t.co/mNyTYKXToP

👋Talk to your reader:
(If YOU made it this far, SALUTE! 🫡)

Address your audience directly using "you" and occasionally their name.

It's like having a one-on-one conversation, making the message you want to deliver more personal.

(Anyone else thinking of Joe from You?!?)

To finish for now, this portrait of Wyn that I loved. I'll add more content to the 🧵 as it comes along, because it's safe to say that
has a lot of fans among readers and artists.

Aliens (1989), w. cover art by Denis Beauvais. If you’re a reader, don’t worry: there are more where that one came from. Or if you’re a character in the story, be very worried: there are more where that one came from. (Unless the online snippets are lying; haven’t read it.)

Another way to play with focus without using a blur filter is the way Canete does with linework here. He fades/tapers off the details & lines into nothingness.

It serves to both push the reader’s focus into one area while including a distinct light source blowing out details.
