So I finished Night in The Woods. Love the aesthetic. While I don't have issues with the writing, it isn't as amazing as people say. The lead character can be a jerk at times. The shift in tone towards the end, and the final payoff was pretty lame. The dreams are repetitive.

Finished my first playthrough of Trials of Mana and kinda loved it. I see why people could argue the combat is repetitive, but I think it's simplicity is a part of it's charm. I also played on hard so it's not like I could just turn my brain off, it definitely stayed engaging
