(2/2) If Bungie just added these new armors people would not just criticize design, they would also point at God of War games around that time, and especially question adding these unusual armors over concepts from The Art of Halo 3. It's likely they'd be scrutinized even more.

I'll have to periodically put a word in for these fellas and reasonable variations on them. It would be nice to have them someday, as well as some of the concept versions of armors that did make it in since 343's willing to frame certain armors as prototypes.
