An incredibly dark take on the Dickens classic. I liked it a lot. The f-bombs absolutely added nothing to it though. It takes you out of the setting. I’m not a prude trying to stifle free expression, but it is only there because they could. Restraint can be the better choice.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without reading Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol.’ The first edition was published in 1843 with illustrations by John Leech. The novel can be appreciated on so many levels and covers many social issues of the time.

If you think a Christmas was about decorated trees, carol singing and all things Dickensian think again. Some of these cards are extemely dark and sinister.
