You may have the same pain as me, but that doesn't mean you really understand my pain.
We have different preferences and memories because we come from different environments and face different things every day.

Ooooh I only just found your account but I’m glad that I did!! Your work is so beautiful and inspiring.

I’ve only very very recently started painting more detailed environments / backgrounds and I love the ones you create 🤍

First of all, god, I adore Onigashima's design. Such a vibrant and whimsical yet still ominous place.

Love both versions I've seen of it, definitely up there as one of my favourite environments we've seen

Luigi’s Mansion excels in atmosphere. I’ve always loved spooky environments: and the first game’s quiet moments exploring the mansion will stay with me. I even made the Game Boy Horror from the game! I aspire to create stories that make the feel the way this game did. 6/7

This is Adelaide, a gnome working for the government of the capital! Unlike most, she enjoys neat environments & bureaucracy - I think her ideal world would have people being very fiscally & ethically responsible & run very smoothly ✨

Working on my next piece late night sneak peek. Relaxing painting some environments for characters to live in. Gotta figure out what character to add in. Probably some colour corrections as well.

We must be willing to make space for empathy, for all beings, if we wish to create the environments we seek without causing harm.

I’d say Beksinski for environments, but that might be a bit difficult as he’s dead, so… 😳

(Stuff inspired by him is amazing, though. The monster skeleton at the beginning of The Empty Man was inspired by his painting ‘The Piper’)
