I like the fairies, but they do have a more sinister side in Gaelic folklore.

They steal babies and leave their own, called changelings.

And sick Scots babies were often left at fairy sites for them to take or leave to die overnight.

But, overall, I like fairies

My grandmother gave me a book about faeries when i was very young, and the book was filled with pencil (and other traditional media) illustrations of old european folklore.
I remember thinking “I can do that too” and just started drawing, never stopped since then.
