I'm discovering how much fun Blender is to sculpt in. Made this little nerd today to try out building a base mesh with the skin modifier, and I gotta say I'm liking it!

Right now he's a lump, but he's my lump. I'll share more as he starts to shape up!

18. Applying Subdivision to posed, rigged models is uh.. An adventure at times, which forces you to be creative.

Noodle fingers are very common side occurence, so hacking of parts of the model and only applying the modifier and nothing else is my go to options to avoid it.

next onto hair groom with xgen! i grew the hair off of faces from her head, then shaped the hairline with a density map. i have a long way to go with this one lol, but with some help from some seniors and playing around with modifiers i got it working decently

If you need to exaggerate the silhouette of a mesh, consider applying simple subdivision and a cast modifier. You can control the cast effect using an empty. Apply the decimate modifier (set to planar) after the cast to counteract the simple subdivision.

モデリングしたのはEdit modeで色がついてる部分のみで、あとはMirrorで左右対称にしてからModifierのArrayで複製してます。
MirrorとArrayのためにすべて同じオブジェクトにしちゃっているので、マテリアルの管理がやや面倒なのが難点。
