I'm actually very excited for Luca and Turning Red. Turning Red is being directed by Domee Shi (very exciting!) and Luca just looks so charming. Soul felt like PIXAR's step out of their comfort zone and it gave me hope for the future of its films. I hope this keeps up!

It'd be neat to see more Kong backstory in the films. I haven't read it, but the comic Birth of Kong established that he was pretty much Bruce Wayne-d.
It's getting reprinted together with Godzilla Aftershock in a single volume (Titanthology is called) if you are interested!

27 years ago, today.
Over a year earlier I had spent the best part of three days with him, and his band. We had played table football together, watched films, talked about the Beatles.
He was a warm, kind and gentle man who, over those three days was perfect company. 27 years.
