Rounding them out and setting in rules on how they are drawn. Mostly to make them appear as the ages they actually are and diversify their bodies more to what I imagined.
Sure it could mean she just lets her hair fall more naturally once she's out of a formal setting.. Except these exist. If she was ok with wearing her hair SO neatly AND SHORT, I don't think both her fantasy look and adult look would look as messy as they do.
