Its a lot more simple than that i just drew a quarter of the drawing and mirrored it across the canvas. The ceiling was just irregular shapes so its all about making the triangles bigger as they get to the center. Anyway here’s a screenshot of the sketch

Florica Rose Bartlett is an Umbrean Sniper. She’s probably the most visually complex character I’ve ever designed, with the goal that she’s never not able to produce a weapon from her person, so much so that she jangles when she walks.

And this trick is also used the other way around as a comedic tool.

The first page shows a bunch of panels with high details and cinematographic angles to give a sense of tension to the scene. But then it kills of this effect with a flat composition, to sell its dumb punchline.
