initially i wanted to draw the left one and tried to do sketch first (bc i usually skip it) but i didnt feel good about it,, then decided to start over with different composition and immediately color blocking/shaping as usual askdjf

The art battle theme was "meanwhile in alternate universe", an extra option was to use vertical composition. 2 hours, but I have finalized it after the battle.
