John William Waterhouse:
´´Brilliant painter with all the techniques and an extensive palette. Favoured the Pre Raphaelite look mostly with some modesty.´´

Early in the year I started doing this personal project called Yggdrasil's Rest for class. Not for any big hopes of turning it into anything, but I've kept it around to have a world I can come back to when I learn new techniques, which'll show up later. (2/15)

“What makes Melisa’s work so interesting is her labour intensive studio practice. Through layering techniques such as sanding, pyrography and stencil composition, she creates gorgeous etherial works” - Toronto Fair Assistant, Sasha Ali. ⁣#2020BestSellers https://t.co/Q5wyANEONP

OMNISLASH!!! So this has been sitting in the works since I think May? Whatever the case, I love impossibly cool sword techniques, Roderik's the most worthy of showing off of me characters 😭#dnd

This year has been a lot of things, we know...
But despite the chaos, it was surprisingly very productive for me at certain times:
-Experimentation of techniques
-Practice of OTHER fan media
-Most commissions I've drawn in a single year to date
I can't complain!

I used techniques used in blender volumes but am using URP with shader graph and wanted to control performance. I used a mesh generator to create slices of planes to create a volume

Here is a free tattoo art design if anyone wants it. This was just me practicing out a few techniques. So what do you think? Also if you do get it please tag me in the post!!!

The 'flower' powers Ino uses in the games are derived from her skills in the Manga and Anime, so they are basically canon. Ino mostly uses shinobi flowers "Ninja Wolfsbane" techniques in games which she had used in manga, and sometimes she attaches explosive tags on them 💐

Most of artisans work with traditional techniques passed on from one generation to the next and want to bring these earth friendly handicrafts to the mainstream so that they are no longer a novelty. https://t.co/ZF3wp6xuBC

OC - Tina Polar

I did something different, in which I used greyscale painting techniques and then used colors and contrasts to give it a unique look.

I’m Rashad, a black illustrator in college who has been drawing OP for 6 years because it’s always so fun to. I do what I can to learn new techniques and skills in every drawing I make.

Lots of lowkey stuff going on in the background but at least I drew some neat stuff with cool techniques I guess?

Lean year but not a bad year.

I'd like to know which one of my 4 techniques you like the most.

1. Full render, takes lotta time.
2. Almost full render, a bit easier and faster.
3. Very fast and sketchy, basic light/shades.
4. Even faster, but too simple and no lights/shades.

I have a weirdly specific art goal at the moment where I really want to figure out a way to slap on polish to sketches quickly.... but I'm still just fumbling around because I haven't figured out the right brushes/techniques/whatever combo that makes me happy
