Hey there! I draw a simple sketch, try to do a complete line art, panic that it doesnt look good, skip to full painting, panic again, redo a better line art over top, rinse and repeat till I hate it and the paintings done!

Sketch
Lines
Rough colour test (single layer)
Flat colours (separates by layers)
Rendering

Sometimes I’ll skip steps, and painting environments is a totally different process, but that’s usually how I work for character pieces. 😊
