Fact #1947: Angry Birds Samurai was a show pitched to Rovio in 2015 by Edo Haruma. It would have taken place in Feudal Japan and redesigned the Birds & Pigs to fit the show's setting, with new characters also being introduced. Unfortunately, the show was never picked up.
