I made a She-Ra chibi! I’m pretty pleased with this style for them - they’re not something I typically make but I think this looks adorable. Their proportions are surprisingly tricky to balance.

Thanks! I was thinking that while red DOES look good on her (Hilda's color 9 is one of my favorite), I didn't want to use white for the other color since even color 9 still puts black in to maintain the balance. I sadly omitted the red.

As I have moved into using pencil crayon with my watercolor it is sometimes a struggle with paper texture. I really like painting on rough paper but pencil crayon is a bit more difficult. Trying to find a balance.

Lesson on drawing Al:

Alastor is Creole. Some Creoles look more white and others look more black, but you can usually tell they're mixed. Riplae's Color scheme is semi-canon. He is tan and his hair is dark with waves. He's still pretty white looking but that's the balance.
