There’s two things that prevent me from doing that. One is that it looks really crumbly with chalky lineart. Two is that my lineart is rarely closed for it to work. It’s overall a pretty imprecise method, I tend to go with a lasso-made base or one that I’ve drawn by hand.

They’re not wrong. My sketch is still effective to use for final lineart if it’s a quick-paced production.

For me? I won’t use my sketch for finals. My lineart is better o(—(
