Sita, apart from the divine diety that she is worshipped as, is equally human!
And this aspect somewhat gets diluted in te mainstream mythology scriptures.

Yet, mythology in India, can never be static!
It keeps on reinventing itself, and gets constantly re-interpreted🌻

I have been reading about Sita a lot!
A LOT!
While the conventional mythology, as depicted in Valmiki's Ramayana or the Ramcharitamanas, portrays Sita as The Goddess who embodies ideal womanhood;
The local versions of her tale present a more humanly and compelling story!

"Fame" 2020 vs 2022
A vampire inspired by the muse Clio of Greek mythology, goddess of history and lyre playing. Her name means "to recount" or "to make famous". I always associated the study of history with death & bloodshed, so I dressed the character in bone shard jewelry.
