Oh yeah, and rendering Marle's name the way it is in the localization kinda makes sense considering how this lass (Marle from Chrono Trigger) has her name spelled the same in Japanese as well.

...Somewhere, there exists a timeline where Marle was named "Circe" instead.

Well, you see, it was localized... twice. Once in Zenon/Coamix's Raijin Comics and a standalone release afterward. Neither really got off the ground bc of the timeframe, so it kind of sat in license limbo forever, but now they're trying again and I'm here to crash the ship!
