Packing cones…
Playing with conical yarn spools led me to use Mathematica to get a feel for the empty space uncovered by packed tangential truncated cones having parallel axes. I've spent decades pondering 3-D geometry, yet intuition still falls short.
how can they fit that much dilf energy into stolas?? i don’t get it??? it should be mathematically impossible????

Mathematical and precise, the London based mathematician-turned-designer elegantly reduces shape and form to create a clear abstract minimalism: https://t.co/mopdNd9NfC
Dr Maria Abou Chakra @PatternsNGames is a mathematical biologist working on stem cell models!
Maria also communicates science at meetings and conferences with her sci-sketchnotes!

We all have that one indian man on Youtube that teaches you anything. 😂
Printer problem? Laptop problem? Mathematic equation problem? Chemistry problem? All he can do.
Mathematics.
When exploring the Mandelbrot Set, it's easy for you to discover a specific pattern or design that no human has ever seen before.

The name is Randell. Although he doesn't looks like it, he's in his 40s. He is a Secondary school teacher for subjects like Mathematics and Physics.
At times, he will goes for jogging and have a coffee a nearby kopitiam. #OC #originalcharacter #krita
Okay!! Last ref for a bit so I can do art for them-the digidestined and totally radical surfer Kiko is here with tsubumon! He has a love for that beach bro stereotype so styles himself like that but he’s also a PhD candidate in mathematics so he’s also kind of a genius

One of my Escher-like tilings used to illustrate a spiral principle in a joint paper headed by Peichang Ouyang, an advanced mathematician, in ‘Generation of advanced Escher-like spiral tessellations’. The paper is open access: https://t.co/ikFs0KAKIb

Today in 1984, Nigerian potter, Ladi Kwali, died at the age of 59. #RxHistory ⏳
Kwali had an almost mathematical sensibility and a mastery of form and the clay material, evidenced by the symmetry of her work.
Ladi Kwali is featured on the 20 Naira note.
Piero della Francesca was a highly intelligent painter. He used his incredible knowledge of mathematics to compose his work, creating harmony and equilibrium. His paintings have a timelessness and ethereal beauty that has never been equalled #renaissanceart #italy #arthistory

We're going to go from a right triangle to finding the general equation for the volume of a cone while introducing calculus concepts along the way!
