This is a short story from my Sonic AU!
Stone and Robotnik used to work for G.U.N., Stone being an agent assigned to protect Robotnik, while Robotnik was a scientist.
Both ended in that situation because of a being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
My favorite anime is Fullmetal Alchemist: both of them lol (Though I lean towards Brotherhood.) Legit I think these are anime that most people will enjoy, and aren't horribly long either. Great themes, great characters, deals with dark situations, but has a great heart. :)

Something I absolutely loved in making Chapter 2 was showing how Ben has a duality between being a god or a hero. Putting him in a situation where he needed to decide the fate of another being or the fate of millions.
