"There's character in the chaotic." That's a comment from IG: tomquinertart that's stuck with me through the week as I struggled to throw proportion out of the window.

Otago Region fact of the day!

Galarian-Zapdos should technically be called Otagoan-Zapdos! As it turns out, G-Zapdos once were quite common across Otago and a very dominant but also less powerful Pokemon. But when Galarian colonizers came to Otago, they took a big portion of the

More pencil+watercolour style thing. I do quite enjoy using it and building up layers with colour. I also need to learn how to draw lalafell better. xD Still fiddling with their porportions.

Lemme just slide in here real quick to say that's not how it works, G. Breaking proportion is a deliberate tactic the pros use to create a more dynamic and appealing figure.

MONKEY D. LUFFY

4TH GEAR: BOUNDMAN

Luffy's first Gear Fourth form is called Boundman, Luffy's proportions become warped and his body becomes much larger in size, with his arms, upper torso, and legs coated in Busoshoku Haki.

I'd also like to add that in situations like this, I actually draw out the characters behind pretty significantly even if they're going to be covered up. In this situation, the dragon forms are pretty fleshed out even if only a small portion will be visible in the end.
