First time attempting this but... limited palette horseshoe bat? This was actually great practice at simplifying my shading when copying from a photo reference. I did cheat and use two extra colors instead of just the original 5 though...

This was done completely in Photoshop CC on a Cintiq. I used brushes for everything in the image including the imperfections like stains.

There is no specific reference. I just looked at various Amano works to capture his style in my own original piece.
