The ship has a great filtered done, reminiscent of Sanxion. The game itself isn't particularly flashy, but it has a solid graphic style, and the gameplay is quite manic at points. The positioning of narrow passes and trap-doors is often deviously close to alien-generators. 🤓

Finally got around to playing Luminous Avenger iX. It took everything I liked about Copen's campaign in Gunvolt 2 and made a whole game out of it. It's fairly short (~3h) but the tight, fast-paced gameplay, high replayability and crazy plot twists largely made up for it.
