In the original comic, the colors were way too bright because I used their default day colors and opted to just try to shade them to fit the nighttime settings. Depending on the scene, depending the colors that should be used.
(I am working on this still! I swear. lol)
This is what it looks like so far. I am happy to get the protags and Amnesia shaded in. That only leaves 14 left...and highlights and a background. Hah, can't wait to see how this will look like finished tho! #wip

Sorry for the wait, I was working on a comm for @/SpaceSauce2. A grenade launcher extinguisher and a hand-held laser cutter. Also did an advert of the unshaded paintings for fun.
Started gathering felines to use for a story of cats based around Tarot Cards
The three felines here are based on the Moon, Sun, and Star cards
Their names being Starling, Lantana, and Nightshade—a set of siblings
All the cats here are made by @LitchiKitti
The theme of the modjam is contrast, so I wanted that to push that as far as I could with the designs @lezanikat made for Sour & Sweet
The way I shade them is completely different. Sour is shaded with a lot of geometrical patterns while Sweet uses primarily round shading.

One is rounder and cartoonier because I love the idea of this big mamma cat looking evil lady, like, being an evil lady hidden under fluff.
The other one is just based in a maple leaf and a chubby kind of fluffy sharp looking kitty!Go wild!
