The Rocketeer is already a lot of things.
The Disney adaptation had a fairly fraught production where everything even the rocket pack and the iconic helmet was up for alteration by Disney.
Any reference, even an oblique one, to Bettie Page (who the comic characters face was a likeness to) was scrubbed from the script.
