My newest digital painting ~ inspired by the art of Huang Xu, who makes hauntingly beautiful photographs of colored plastic bags floating against a dark background.

Ruby and Sapphire! These two are just so cute, but I am not sure I am satisfied with the background...

I'm not great at fashion, but I want to have a bit of fun playing around with dressing my characters. I originally had her in something blue, but it wasn't popping against the background.

Comic and art-making mutuals, HELP! This cover is just...not working. I need some crit before I start painting in the background. I really like this pose, but the composition feels...off? Their faces? I’m at a loss. (Logo is placeholder.)

Oh yeah, I found one earlier too.
Thought it was the same one for a second.

I also wanted to have a more varied background, but as soon as I figured I was too dumb for openBOR I made a single, horizontally tiling beach background. It looked decent enough to use on the title screen, too, I guess.

No one is allowed to make fun of my poorly traced motorcycle and badly drawn background. I already know.

His murderers MUST be brought to justice. Let’s make sure his story- a life cut short for NO REASON other than racism- doesn’t just fade into the background. Please join me in signing the petition on the above website.

Bought a new phone after many years so I said "Okay, I will create myself a nice background..." Hell, it is terrible to draw on a vertical canvas. PS: The new generation phones have just insanely long displays (why?!)

Gus! Small square gouache painting with a Navy background. Don't often do darker colours (I'm more drawn to pastel tones) but thought this blue would look really striking with his colouring. 💙
