Tested a Zexion sketch (Happy 20th Bday KH!). The set came with 4B 6B and 8B. 8B is really dark, I recommend using it with caution. They really look good for quick shadows in sketches.

4) Circus vibes. Clown suits in the shadows. The tentacles reached up the sky. They were somehow pitching tents like the big top. It was theatrical. The walls were breathing. They were so classically archetypal - as though "clowns" came from them, not the other way around.
Added few more shadows as I saw that it was lacking few and it was bothering me.
Once I saw @kirikerise 's template I couldn't help but do it right away 💀

like not to rag on the artists for the game but i did this shitty 5 minute touchpad edit in csp and it just looks better to me already lol. keep the hard shadows and highlights, i think that looks good, but cmon man

Redoing the CG also gave Phi the opportunity to make the image more dynamic and they totally knocked it out of the park! 🤩
Overall the new version is not only more consistent, but I also love the dynamic shadows and how it shows Steph's book she's always carrying!

@SH0TZE I think for me it was this one from 2021. From that point I started Training on Shadows, make-up, more detailed clothing and Hairstyles and so on. Still have a lot to learn but I already improved a lot since I drew this Fan art
