Shutumon name came from Shutu, the Sumerian God of the South Wind.

Shutu is also the God of Illness.

Her attack, Gilgamesh Slicer, came from the Legendary Sumerian King, Gilgamesh.

Her name in the dub is Zephyrmon, from Zephyr, the west wind.

Finally, on this part, there are 2 spirits:
1.- Salamander. Salamanders were like... "fire faeeries".
2.- Pabilsag. A scorpion god who lived on Mashu, and now lives inside Kur.

Apparently it is a done deal that Disney has bought Fox, if that is good or bad for the consumers I suppose is yet to see. The definitely have the potential for a great all in one streaming, interesting to see the final price though
