these were the boards after I graduated in 2013. I took 1 storyboard class in uni that honestly.. taught me nothing. I had very little/no formal art training. Somehow I got into the nick artist semi-finals and it got me my first gig in animation lol

Fun fact! I used to have a ton of these (pre-2013 designs) when I was a kid, I absolutely loved the mice and bunny designs! Unfortunately they were all sold when I moved from MI to OH in 2013.

Here's some from 2013. I started teaching kids how to draw manga when I was around 21 years old (in 2003 or so) and that has influenced my style quite a lot and I still struggle a bit with breaking away from that aesthetic! I started working professionally in 2004.

Kofi is being a brat, so I'll post here. I originally sketched this up in 2013. Finally got to draw it digitally w/ a borrowed tablet in 2015. It was complicated & I swore I'd never do it again... well here I am. I think it's a bit better now? Progression? Headlock is strong AF.
