Legendary designer Ron Cobb passed away on Monday, on his 83rd birthday. We have much to thank him for: Alien's Nostromo, Star Wars' aliens, Back to the Future's DeLorean, the world of Conan and more. Helping build the worlds we favoured over our own is a remarkable legacy.

Oh no. RIP Ron Cobb (1937-2020). It is a crime that one of the best industrial designers of the XXth Century only got ONE (non-satirical) book published. Star Wars, Alien, Conan, ET, Back to the Future, Aliens, The Abyss, The Last Starfighter... his hand made them believable.
